Job Responsibility
support students aged 16 to 25 with EHCPs to develop life skills in various community settings such as learning hubs, libraries, workplaces, and leisure facilities
assess student progress and outcomes
help provide accredited learning based on a personalised curriculum
Requirements
experience of working with individuals with SEND
patient
supportive
enthusiastic
creative
ability to provide accessible education content tailored to our students
flexibility to travel across the community with students
skills to support the development of independence and assist individuals in accessing work experience placements
experience supporting with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practice and promoting lifelong learning
strong understanding of complex behavioural needs
experience of working with individuals who have complex learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge
ability to work as part of a small team
experience with Proloquo2 or Makaton, or willingness to participate in training for these communication methods
must hold a full UK driving licence
