Job Description

Capital One’s Learning & Development team is seeking a Learning & Development Manager at the enterprise level. This individual will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing and implementing impactful learning experiences and solutions that will fuel our growth as a company and help our associates develop cutting-edge skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Project manage multiple initiatives within the team
  • Ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met
  • Recommend evidence-informed solutions that improve and streamline learner experiences
  • Use exceptional influence, written, and verbal communication skills to refine and socialize our L&D strategy
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize points of leverage for business impact
  • Partner with other Learning & Development professionals across the Enterprise
  • Influence across multiple cross-functional teams, client organizations, and groups without direct authority
  • Stay current with external trends, best practices, and innovations
  • Leverage experience and background in instructional design and adult learning
  • Leverage expertise in DIB and adult learning to inform the learning strategy and products
  • Comfort facilitating and leading training/workshops effectively
  • Coach and develop learning professionals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in client facing consulting
  • At least 3 years of experience in learning and development
  • At least 1 year of experience in project management
  • At least 1 year of experience in learning strategy creation

Nice to have

  • At least 5 years of experience in learning and development
  • At least 3 years of experience in learning strategy creation
