Your New School Randstad Education is partnering with a progressive, community-minded Catholic College located in Melbourne's growing northern suburbs. This is a prominent leadership position (classified as POL 2) with a secure 3-year leadership tenure (2027–2029). You will oversee the strategic direction of the Science department across Years 7–12, ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery and effective staff resourcing. Successful Candidate Profile Qualifications: Relevant secondary teaching qualification and current VIT registration (or equivalent). Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar educational capacity with strong financial and budgetary acumen. Pedagogical Expertise: Deep understanding of curriculum development, assessment practices, and data analysis to drive targeted professional development. Job Responsibility

  • Lead the development, implementation, and regulatory compliance of the Science curriculum for Years 7–12
  • Provide clear direction to the Laboratory Technician Leader regarding team management, supplies, scheduling, and risk minimisation strategies
  • Work collaboratively with fellow Learning Leaders to optimise shared technician staff resourcing and task prioritisation
  • Oversee and schedule specialist Science facilities across the college campuses
