Job Description

The Learning Experience Designer II is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining quality learning experiences which drive measurable business outcomes and behavioral change. You will build solutions that address team needs using an iterative and collaborative approach. You will be responsible for delivering learning resources and experiences on time and with high quality. You will work with internal customers helping teammates and leaders perform and grow, upskilling them to be future-ready.

Job Responsibility

  • Construct deliverables in accordance with the design plan for a portfolio of projects
  • Create and curate content to be used in learning initiatives, projects, or programs both independently and in collaborative settings
  • Utilize a variety of modern learning methods which are designed for learning in the flow of work
  • Participate in design sessions with project teams, contributing ideas to enhance solutions
  • Increase the number of team skills and impact how work is done (behaviors)
  • Work on multiple projects at once, managing time and attention, ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Continuously seek learner feedback, ideas, and suggestions to improve learning designs and approaches
  • Seek to understand the long-term opportunities/challenges while problem-solving the day-to-day issues and projects
  • Contribute to and implement measurement plans that analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions, return on investment, and provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and business trends, best practices, and internal changes and environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent job experience) required
  • Master's Degree (or equivalent job experience) preferred
  • Experience applying adult learning principles, theories, concepts and development technologies or modalities, practical experience and application of training development models
  • Experience working in design thinking, human centered design, learner experience design or business design preferred
  • 3+ years of experience designing content and delivering learning initiatives in an applied setting as part of a team
  • Experience with learning experience platforms, learning management systems and authoring tools such as Adobe, Articulate 360/Rise, Camtasia, Microsoft Suite, or similar
