Job Description

Adyen is looking for a creative and execution-focused Learning Experience Design Program Manager to join our Support Learning and Development team. This team focuses on L&D initiatives across our globally distributed merchant facing Support organization (Customer support, Technical support etc). This role is dedicated to the 'Development' phase of the ADDIE model, transforming high-level module outlines into engaging, high-quality learning experiences. You will be responsible for the end-to-end creation of learning assets, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into our authoring tools and platforms. Beyond content creation, you will oversee the standards for learning methodologies, tooling, and innovation to ensure our learning products remain world-class. This position consists of a blend of deep instructional design expertise (70%) and operational program management (30%) to ensure efficiency and quality assurance across our global learning portfolio.

Job Responsibility

  • Learning Experience Creation - LXD
  • Content Development: Execute the 'Development' phase of the ADDIE process by transforming module outlines into interactive learning assets, products, and experiences
  • Authoring & Tooling: Build and configure learning solutions within authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360) and other digital mediums to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Instructional Methodology: Select and apply the correct medium and instructional methodologies to create effective, learner-centric assets
  • Multimedia Innovation: Incorporate innovative design trends and multimedia elements to enhance engagement and knowledge retention
  • Program Management & Governance
  • Quality Standards: Oversee and maintain guidelines, templates, and quality assurance (QA) standards for all learning content design
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage the operational workflow of the learning design process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet business requirements
  • Tooling Strategy: Drive innovation in learning tooling and technologies, identifying new ways to improve the content creation process
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate technical information into digestible learning content

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design, specifically focused on the development and execution phase of content creation
  • Advanced proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, particularly Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) as well as AI capabilities for Learning Design
  • Demonstrated experience using the ADDIE model and adult learning theories to build effective, agile scalable learning solutions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content development workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience managing a library of learning assets and maintaining version control across global teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to synthesize complex ideas into clear learning content

Nice to have

  • Experience in a global Operations or Support environment
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and emerging learning technologies (LXP, AI-driven content tools)
