Job Description

We are looking for Learning Disability Support Workers to work in our4 client's home located in the area of Surbiton. You will be providing high quality care to the elderly. Purpose of Post: Our Learning Disability Support Worker Team is to assist individuals with learning disabilities by providing personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring their overall well-being through various support activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting with meal preparation
  • Supporting individuals with household tasks and upkeep
  • Administering medication
  • Facilitating community engagement and participation
  • Accompanying individuals on shopping trips and outings
  • Coordinating and attending medical appointments
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements

  • Possessing prior experience with learning disabilities and autism is highly advantageous
  • Delivering one-on-one support in clients' homes
  • Fostering a positive and supportive environment that encourages independence and well-being
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times
  • Demonstrating proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
