Learning & Development Specialist

• Act in a consultative capacity to advise internal and external stakeholders / clients on matters pertaining to training needs
• Contribute to regular training needs analyses (TNA) to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement
• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality training programmes / interventions / courses aligned to the needs of the business / stakeholders / clients
• Deliver high-quality teaching / instruction across all existing and future training programmes / courses (including apprenticeship programmes)
• Carry out examinations / assessments in accordance with awarding body / company procedures
• Ensure training records are up-to-date and are readily available for inspection
• Assess the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics
• Incorporate Ensure safety management principles into training
• Provide a professional, high-quality, customer led service to internal / stakeholders / clients
• Deliver cost effective quality training
• Evidence self-development by undertaking Continual Professional Development (CPD)

• At least two years’ experience in a teaching / training role, or a similar Learning and Development role – Preferably in the aviation industry
• Level 3 CTLLS (or above) or equivalent
• Level 5 CMI or L5 ILM Leadership & Management (or above) – or willing to obtain qualification
• Level 3 TAQA Assessing or equivalent – or willing to obtain qualification
