We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Learning & Development Specialist at ICON, you will provide support to CTL&D TA Leads for protocol specific training planning within assigned therapeutic area(s). Service/deliverables include support to deliver on protocol specific training related processes, including, but not limited to development / documentation of the Global Protocol Training Plan (GPTP) for each protocol assigned.
Job Responsibility:
Services rendered will adhere to applicable SOPs, WIs, policies & codes Good Clinical Practice (GCP), local regulatory requirements, etc.
Complies with relevant training requirements
Responsible for maintenance of the training library and relevant workflows, serving as a conduit between EBIS Learning Systems Solutions team, study teams, and TA Lead as appropriate
Manages content of training repository with appropriate mechanisms in place to support version control and compliance
Responsible for central management of materials in partnership with CTL&D TA Lead
Responsible for successful migration of legacy training processes and/or systems for defined studies, where applicable
Responsible for ensuring version control of training materials
Contribute to lessons learned and overall continuous improvement
Supports oversight of operations process, tools and reporting and ensures necessary training/support established
Support reporting of performance metrics per CTL&D agreed KPIs
Proactively identify issues to study team contacts and collaboratively develop solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field
2 years of clinical trial operation experience
Strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP, company standard operating procedures, local laws and regulations, assigned protocols and associated protocol specific procedures
Strong IT skills in appropriate software and company systems
Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay away from home according to business needs
Proficient in speaking and writing the country language and English
Good written and oral communication skills as appropriate.
