Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead training initiatives that empower our employees to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Job Responsibility:
Lead and facilitate engaging onboarding programs and core learning sessions that help new employees and leaders integrate smoothly into the operation
Maintain and enhance department-level training systems by ensuring trainers are supported, trained, and coached in delivering consistent service standards
Partner with department leaders to identify performance gaps and apply learning solutions that strengthen operational and service excellence
Facilitate or coach others to deliver management and leadership development initiatives that build strong and capable leaders across the hotel
Support managers in creating experience-based development plans and ensure structured learning objectives are met for early‑career talent
Oversee compliance-related training, including ethics, safety, and required programs in collaboration with People & Culture and operational departments
Conduct Learning Needs Analyses, create annual training plans and calendars, evaluate learning effectiveness, manage training budgets, and support property-wide change initiatives
Requirements:
Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills with a passion for developing others
College degree required
Ability to multitask, analyze performance needs, and apply adult learning principles effectively
Minimum of three years of managerial experience in learning, hotel operations, or luxury hospitality
Experience in adult education, diverse cultural environments, or service-focused training programs
Knowledge of learning technologies, instructional design, evaluation methodologies, and basic financial management
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
