Job Description

As a Learning & Development Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening performance across Westwing by building and scaling impactful learning initiatives. You will focus on leadership development and targeted talent programmes, ensuring our teams have the skills and mindset to deliver strong results. This is a hands-on role with strategic exposure, where you will design and implement structured, high-quality learning solutions in close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and drive Learning & Development initiatives across Westwing, with a focus on leadership trainings and our key talent programme
  • Design and implement scalable learning formats (e.g. trainings, workshops, development journeys) aligned with business needs
  • Build and continuously evolve leadership development concepts and frameworks
  • Develop and manage structured talent programmes to identify and grow high-potential employees
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable learning solutions
  • Create and maintain high-quality training materials, playbooks, and learning content
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance learning design, personalisation, and scalability
  • Track success through KPIs, feedback loops, and continuous optimisation

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field
  • Experience in designing and delivering trainings, workshops, or development programmes
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to drive topics independently
  • Structured, hands-on mindset and ability to create clarity from complexity
  • A pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly, think on your feet, and find smart and creative ways to deliver impact
  • Strong interest in people development and leadership topics
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset and a data-driven approach
  • Interest in AI tools and their application in learning and development
  • Fluency in English and German
