We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator to support the delivery and coordination of the learning and development (L&D) activities that underpin our organisational vision, culture, and strategy by providing high-quality administrative, logistical, and reporting support to ensure colleagues have a professional, seamless learning experience.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate the end-to-end logistics of learning events, including scheduling, booking venues, managing participant lists, and communicating event details
Oversee all Health & Safety and mandatory training, ensuring colleagues complete essential learning on time
Maintain and update the training matrix, tracking completion, gaps, and compliance requirements
Work closely with the L&D Lead and People team to deliver a professional and joined-up L&D service
Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all records, courses, and completion data are accurate
Assist in organising learning events, workshops, content creation and other engagement activities
Requirements:
Educated to A-Level (or equivalent experience in a learning or administrative role)
Proven experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role, ideally within Learning & Development, HR or a similar people-focused function
Coordinating training bookings, calendars or events logistics
Strong administrative accuracy with high attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office
An understanding of confidentiality, data protection and good record-keeping practice
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build effective working relationships
Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused approach to work
Customer-service mindset
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and improve processes
Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining communication with others

Nice to have:
CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience, or the desire to work towards
Experience of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Platforms
Experience in Health & Safety administration or compliance monitoring
Working with external training providers
Managing purchase orders and invoices
Understanding of the Learning & Development cycle and how training supports organisational goals
Awareness of Health & safety compliance requirements and reporting
Ability to generate clear, concise reports and summaries of learning data
Understanding of L&D principles and best practice including digital learning innovation
