Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator to support the delivery and coordination of the learning and development (L&D) activities that underpin our organisational vision, culture, and strategy by providing high-quality administrative, logistical, and reporting support to ensure colleagues have a professional, seamless learning experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate the end-to-end logistics of learning events, including scheduling, booking venues, managing participant lists, and communicating event details
  • Oversee all Health & Safety and mandatory training, ensuring colleagues complete essential learning on time
  • Maintain and update the training matrix, tracking completion, gaps, and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with the L&D Lead and People team to deliver a professional and joined-up L&D service
  • Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all records, courses, and completion data are accurate
  • Assist in organising learning events, workshops, content creation and other engagement activities

Requirements

  • Educated to A-Level (or equivalent experience in a learning or administrative role)
  • Proven experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role, ideally within Learning & Development, HR or a similar people-focused function
  • Coordinating training bookings, calendars or events logistics
  • Strong administrative accuracy with high attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • An understanding of confidentiality, data protection and good record-keeping practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build effective working relationships
  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused approach to work
  • Customer-service mindset
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and improve processes

Nice to have

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience, or the desire to work towards
  • Experience of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Platforms
  • Experience in Health & Safety administration or compliance monitoring
  • Working with external training providers
  • Managing purchase orders and invoices
  • Understanding of the Learning & Development cycle and how training supports organisational goals
  • Awareness of Health & safety compliance requirements and reporting
  • Ability to generate clear, concise reports and summaries of learning data
