As a Learning Developer and Coordinator, you’ll support the Customer Learning & Development team’s strategic goals around empowering internal and external customers in using Boston Dynamics’ products. Reporting to the Learning Developer Supervisor, while collaborating closely with the Learning Experience Design Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our learning management system (LMS) and developing online learner-centric programs and resources that drive engagement with our products and services. A typical day could include adding learners to the LMS, configuring course settings, working with technical subject matter experts, developing content to align with a course skeleton and utilizing platform features that promote interactivity, developing assessment questions, and updating current course offerings. The ideal candidate is a learning designer/developer with some experience, who has worked in technical spaces, and is well-versed in managing multiple projects and supporting the delivery of high-quality learning products on time and within budget. This candidate also thrives working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Job Responsibility:
Rapidly develop and implement learning content (online and blended), supporting design efforts driven by the Learning Developer Supervisor
Design, develop, and support assessment efforts
Utilize AI strategically, safely, and appropriately to support content development and simple coding tasks when needed
Enable learners and set up experiences in our LMS, including configuration and administration tasks necessary to ensure a high-quality experience
Ensure that instructional content stays up to date
Leverage understanding of adult learning, instructional design, and/or learning principles to make experiences engaging and interactive
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with team members as needed
Implement appropriate learning technologies, integrating them with existing systems
Contribute to the production of ancillary learning materials promoting self-study, practice, and knowledge-sharing
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Education or related field
