Job Description:

The Training and Documentation team empowers Evolv’s customers, partners, and internal teams with world-class technical training and clear, compliant documentation—while pioneering in-the-flow learning delivered right where operators work: embedded on the Evolv Tablet, available in the Mobile App, and accessible through the MyEvolv portal—so knowledge is on-site, on demand, and always up to date.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gain hands-on experience in Content Development, Instructional Design, and Learning & Development
  • Contribute to the delivery of training and content across user interfaces to support customer enablement
  • Enhance customer training materials (videos, “Here’s how” guides)
  • Integrate these materials into MyEvolv portal, Mobile app, and Evolv Tablet
  • Outline collaboration points with Product, Software, and Cloud Engineering teams
  • Define success metrics (e.g., usability, accessibility, engagement)
  • Work on special projects to enhance customer training material
  • Enable technical integration of training content into Evolv devices and apps
  • Support backend delivery and scalability of training content

Requirements:

  • Complete LMS onboarding modules (compliance, product certifications for installers, service, and operator/admin roles)
  • Explore Evolv’s learning ecosystem: MyEvolv portal, Mobile app, and Evolv Tablet
  • Attend scheduled training sessions (internal and partner-focused)
  • Begin shadowing team members and meet with Product team
  • Participate in in-person technical training in Waltham
  • Create a project plan
  • Draft scripts and storyboards for instructional videos
  • Design “Here’s how” links and quick-access guides
  • Explore technical feasibility for tablet-based video display
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams
  • Attend multiple training sessions to gather real-world feedback
  • Provide weekly status updates
  • Finalize deliverables
  • Prepare and deliver a presentation
  • Assist in creating course content, presentations, and interactive e-learning modules
  • Use authoring tools (e.g., Synthesia)
  • Work with Instructional Design Leads
  • Ensure alignment with LMS standards and accessibility best practices
  • Research, write, and edit user manuals, installation guides, and service procedures
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers
  • Update existing documentation
  • Support localization efforts
  • Participate in technical training sessions
  • Assist in creating quick-reference guides and embedded training content
  • Work with enablement managers
  • Gather feedback
  • Use materials created to enhance customer training material
  • Align training enhancements with product functionality and roadmap
  • Work with product managers
  • Validate accuracy of “Here’s how” guides
  • Incorporate feedback
  • Collaborate on feasibility for displaying instructional videos
  • Coordinate on UI/UX adjustments
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and usability standards
  • Work on hosting and streaming video content
  • Ensure secure and reliable access
  • Assist in linking to course videos
  • Participate and engage with Training and Documentation Team Meetings
  • Engage with Product, Engineering and Cloud Software
