The Learning and Organisational Development Lead will shape the strategy, design and delivery of learning and OD initiatives across Magentus. Working closely with the P&C team and business leaders, you’ll build a multi‑year roadmap of fit‑for‑purpose programs that support our cultural transformation and strengthen capability, engagement and the growth of our talent across the organisation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the development and delivery of the Magentus learning and development program, across leadership, high performing teams and talent development
Facilitate learning interventions and partner with Heads of People and HRBPs to ‘train‑the‑trainer’ for program roll out
Own and evolve the formalised induction program for new starters
Maintain and enhance the learning curriculum as the business matures
Oversee learning administration activities and act as system custodian of the Magentus LMS, Litmos
Performance – Play a lead role in partnering with the P&C team and business leaders to drive the adoption and embedding of the Magentus Performance Framework
Competency & capability – lead the design and roll out of an organisational competency and capability framework to support development and career pathways
Culture – design and implement culture initiatives that strengthen Magentus as a values‑led, people‑first business, including reimagining our corporate values
Engagement – partner with Heads of People to run the bi‑annual engagement survey, identify hot spots and develop targeted strategies to action feedback
Requirements:
Extensive experience across learning, leadership development and organisational development in both mature and scaling environments
Proven experience designing and delivering fit‑for‑purpose leadership development programs
Strong project management capability and the ability to guide project teams through influence and stakeholder engagement
Experience leading organisation’s through transformational change
Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business or a related field
Supporting qualifications in adult learning, leadership development or instructional design
Exposure to a range of HR technologies and the ability to contribute to future investment recommendations
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Comfort working in ambiguity and building structure in evolving environments
A hands‑on, practical approach suited to a lean team
Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to work collaboratively while also being self‑directed when needed
Excellent attention to detail
Well‑developed organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities
