As a Learning & Development Administrator, you are responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the business by providing high-quality administrative support to the Learning & Development (L&D) team. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth delivery of training and development across Nixon Hire, maintaining training systems and supporting colleagues across the business to access learning opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of training and development activities across the business
Maintain and improve Learning & Development administrative systems, processes and records using Microsoft Office and the Learning Management System (LMS)
Manage the training calendar, including bookings, venues, materials and trainer resources for internal and external training sessions
Administer the LMS including user management, course updates, reporting and system maintenance
Respond to training queries via email and phone in a professional and timely manner
Produce and distribute training reports for managers and senior leadership teams
Send training invitations, confirmations and reminders to colleagues
Provide LMS demonstrations and support colleagues with e-learning where required
Support meetings through agenda preparation and minute taking
Process invoices and ensure timely payments for external training providers in line with internal financial procedures
Maintain and submit monthly commissioned training reports
Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across the business and with external training providers
Contribute ideas to improve and develop Learning & Development services
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and Nixon Hire quality procedures
Requirements:
Previous administrative experience, including managing bookings and handling email enquiries
Experience using databases and Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail
Confident IT user with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams
Ability to manage high-volume data entry accurately and maintain organised records
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and positive approach
Proactive and able to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
GCSE or equivalent experience, including English and Maths
Nice to have:
Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) is desirable but not essential
