Job Description

The Learning & Culture (L&C) organization supports the creation, curation, and deployment of end-to-end learning solutions to increase organizational and employee success. The Learning Advisor is a strategic Human Resources professional who helps identify the Learning needs of their coverage area and determine the appropriate solution in alignment with the Learning & Culture Menu of Services. The role works in close partnership with key business and HR stakeholders to deliver an integrated strategy.

Job Responsibility

  • Help execute and market a Learning strategy that supports HR and business priorities and leverages enterprise solutions
  • Develop Learning strategy in partnership with manager and in alignment broader product/function Learning strategy
  • Conduct root cause and gap analyses to identify opportunities and appropriate solutions
  • Partner with other Learning Advisors to consult with stakeholders in the coverage area
  • Advises and ensures that learning products developed within the coverage area comply with standards and policies
  • where applicable, work with SMEs/originators outside of L&C to navigate Learning governance
  • Assist with measuring the effectiveness and success of training interventions, and communicating impact to stakeholders
  • Support management of the learning budget for function
  • Collaborate with peers in L&C and across HR to provide an integrated and consistent experience for partners and stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of latest external market trends and anticipate their impact on future capability requirements for function
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Learning
  • Key capabilities for this role include consulting, applying adult learning theory, developing business acumen, facilitation, measuring success and impact of Learning strategy, and project management skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills
  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Understand, implement and monitor regulatory mandated learning requirements for the country markets within scope of coverage
  • Where possible leverage existing learning solutions to deliver against regulatory learning outcomes, or design new learning solutions when required in partnership with relevant global learning SMEs
  • Contribute to the overall risk management framework by ensuring regulatory learning programs effectively mitigate compliance risks associated with employee conduct and knowledge
  • Establish trusted relationships with cluster and country CHROs and CCOBH’s as their main point of contact for learning to consult and provide learning advisory support related to regulatory and audit related learning requirements as part of their overall people strategy
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programs and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and impact
  • Champion the effective use of learning technologies and digital platforms to enhance the accessibility, engagement, and scalability of regulatory learning solutions
  • Adopt a data driven approach in the design and delivery of learning solutions and initiatives
  • Support the country and cluster Human Resource teams in managing regulatory audits/inspections and ad hoc requests for learning related data and actions
  • Work towards certification to facilitate programs in the areas of leadership and professional development, and support the Leadership Development team in delivering global programs in country when required
