The Learner Support Administrator will be pivotal in ensuring the right information, advice and guidance is provided to support the learner’s needs across all programms within YMCAfit. This will be a varied and exciting role in a fast paced environment where no one day will be the same. This is a real opportunity to take ownership and make the role your own as well as gain an insight into education in the Fitness industry with a leading provider.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to our students (such as guiding them with applications for student loans)
Assist the wider teams to ensure all aspects of the course delivery is fulfilled
Be the main point of contact for YMCAfit students outside of the classroom environment and provide advice and guidance over the phone and via email
Ensure that all students enquiries are responded to and appropriate support is provided
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role
Basic knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Strong communication skills and ability to provide an outstanding level of customer service
Interest in adult education with the ability to listen and have empathy and understanding of the barriers learners face
Ability to follow procedures timely and accurately
Excellent attention to details and able to work on deadlines
Excellent computing skills, including Microsoft Office package
Good interpersonal skills including ability to deal with a wide range of people in person and over the phone
Ability to use own initiative to problem solve
