Job Description:

Learner Success Coaches are responsible for maximising retention and ensuring apprentice progress to target by monitoring learner progress, conducting routine progress review every 10 -12 weeks and providing coaching support sessions as required for each learner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive progression and ensure OTJ and learning plan progress is delivered to plan
  • Support learners to complete Functional Skills by month 6
  • Engage with the employer and learners at a minimum every quarter, delivering Progress Reviews, reviewing objectives set and defining plans to reinstate progress where appropriate
  • Recording and reporting on activity on the E-portfolio system Aptem
  • Escalate any risk factors with line manager and deliver actions defined
  • Embed Maths and English Functional skills into the learner sessions
  • Deliver and embed topics relating to Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent, Equal Opportunities and other related Acts. Ensuring a regional approach and contextualisation
  • Ensure best practices and be aware of Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities and related Acts

Requirements:

  • Teaching, coaching or mentoring experience in a relevant industry
  • Experience within Apprenticeships or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in or understanding of the tech space
  • Experience using AI tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Solutions focussed problem solver
  • Passion for learner support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using Excel, MI reporting tools & learner LMS systems

  • Measure learning experience and performance outcomes during and after training, in partnership with critical stakeholders like CS leadership and QA, to identify opportunities with training programs, advocate performance and advocate workflows
  • Support a full range of stakeholder and learner needs: coaching, facilitation, and content creation to maintain new and existing training courses
  • Be a thought partner and provide mentorship support to junior team members (e.g. classroom observations and feedback, guidance on projects, etc)
  • Act as functional leader for newly hired team members assigned to your program. You will track and document performance according to required metrics, as well as have corresponding performance coaching conversations as required
  • Support advocates during and after classroom training through training delivery and various engagement mechanisms such as weekly 1:1s, real-time coaching, call monitoring, and auditing at development of new associates to strive towards exceeding performance expectations
  • Measure post-training performance gaps to identify opportunities for continuous improvement with an emphasis on achieving performance results.
