For our operations at ModusLink (Venray & Amsterdam) we are looking for a hands-on Lean Engineer who will take our continuous improvement culture to the next level. Over the past years, we have built a strong Lean foundation. Now it's time to embed Lean into our DNA and that's where you come in.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive Lean culture across both sites (Venray & Amsterdam)
  • Lead Kaizen events and hands-on improvement initiatives
  • Coach teams, supervisors and managers in Lean thinking & behavior
  • Analyze processes and implement end-to-end improvements
  • Optimize layouts, flows, costs and operational performance
  • Build and track KPI structures for continuous improvement
  • Ensure sustainability through standard work and follow-up
  • Collaborate with our global Lean community

Requirements

  • HBO degree in Engineering (or similar)
  • Lean Black Belt (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong hands-on experience in logistics / operations
  • Ability to drive Lean culture (not just tools)
  • Strong stakeholder management (shopfloor → management)
  • Analytical mindset (Excel, Power BI or similar)
  • Fluent in English & Dutch
  • Willing to work across both locations
