Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lean & Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team the Spring or Summer of 2026. The ideal candidate will be a sophomore (or higher) student with a strong understanding of engineering principles and processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Conducting Time studies
  • Providing project support to the team
  • Assisting with NPS (Net Promoter Score – Nemera production system) support activities
  • Contributing to the savings goal for the plant

Requirements

  • Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and preferably focused on industrial engineering or other related Engineering field
  • Candidates preferred to have completed their second year of engineering studies and entering Junior or Senior year
  • High problem-solving skills and self-direction
  • Ability to work in a team or individual contributor
  • Technical skills including problem-solving abilities and communication skills
  • Specific software proficiency (e.g., Excel)
  • Familiarity with Time studies
  • Knowledge of 5S principles
  • Understanding of Lean concepts such as Kanban and SMED (a plus)
  • Power BI skills (a plus). Willingness to learn, create dashboards thereafter a requirement

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with manufacturing and/or plastic injection molding
  • Power BI skills
