This business is not just another commercial fit-out firm. They are a successful, family-owned business with a massive pipeline of work across Sydney. Their projects span high-end office fit-outs, government spaces, commercial hubs, and luxury residential builds. They need an a motivated Leading Hand for a couple of key projects that are starting in a few weeks. These are wage-based positions reporting directly to our Project Managers. If you’re a qualified chippie or joiner looking for a crew that actually backs your growth, this is it. This is your launchpad. You’ll be working closely with experienced Foremen and PMs, learning the ropes of site management while taking real ownership of $500K office fit-out projects. Job Responsibility

  • Supervise and coordinate subbies, labourers, and onsite personnel
  • Ensure all carpentry work is executed perfectly according to the plans
  • Keep track of daily site activity and document progress (basic computer work)
  • Monitor and maintain onsite WHS compliance to keep everyone safe
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Foreman to review project status and smash milestones

Requirements

  • Trade or tertiary qualified in Carpentry or Joinery with experience working for a recognised Aussie builder
  • At least 1 years of experience working on commercial or similar fit-out projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Confidence to chat with clients and subbies
  • Tech-literate
  • Hungry to learn
  • Ready to fast-track your career
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Solid understanding of WHS
