We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Leading Hand Process Operators with wet plant expertise to join our team at the Wodgina Lithium Mine. These roles are full-time positions offering opportunities to expand your skill set through on-site training, develop your career both on the tools and as a leader, and work within one of Australia’s most exciting resources projects.
Job Responsibility:
Safe and efficient operation of all plant sections, including: Grinding
Flotation
LIMS/WHIMS separation
Thickening
Filtration
Control Room
Concentrate load-out
Tailings disposal
Coordinate and oversee daily work activities of the processing team to ensure tasks are completed to required standards and timelines
Provide guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to team members to build skills and capability
Act as the first point of contact for operational updates and issue resolution, escalating matters to the Site Leadership Team as needed
Monitor production performance and allocate resources effectively to meet targets
Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and shift handovers in line with company safety standards
Maintain accurate shift records, stock levels, and operational logs for reporting purposes
Monitor and optimise plant operations while ensuring high housekeeping standards
Carry out daily inspections to verify plant safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and recommending process enhancements
Foster a positive and cooperative team culture aligned with company values
Requirements:
Previous Leading Hand experience in process operations
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to carry out work instructions and directives to provide satisfactory outcomes
Ability to work within a team environment to achieve desired results
Flexible and versatile attitude
Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate
Current Australian Driver's License (HR License desirable)
Construction Induction Card
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements
Nice to have:
Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, and bobcats
Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing
Experience in lithium, gold or copper processing operations
