Job Description

This leading national commercial fit-out and refurbishment head contractor delivers small to medium-scale projects, typically ranging from $500K to $5 million, with a strong focus on office fit-outs. They are offering a unique opportunity for a motivated and reliable Leading Hand to join their successful like-minded team, and develop into a Foreman or Site Supervisor role.With a strong pipeline of work, this builder provides an ideal platform for experienced carpentry or joinery tradespeople who possess strong interpersonal and client-facing skills and are looking to step up in their career and take ownership of managing their own $500K office fit-out projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervision / co-ordination of trades, site personnel and subcontractors
  • Documenting site activity
  • Compliance and monitoring of WHS
  • Ensuring carpentry works are being carried out in accordance to plans
  • Working closely with the Foreman to review the status of the project

Requirements

  • Trade or tertiary qualified in Carpentry / Joinery
  • Worked for a recognised building practice in Australia
  • Experience complying with WHS
  • 1 years experience working on similar commercial projects
  • High communication skills and attention to detail
  • Computer Literate
  • Be hungry to fast track up the ranks in a bustling environment
  • Full driver’s license and vehicle
