Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, organize, motivate and supervise the activities of a 15 to 25 union employees
  • Assume all the human resources management responsibilities
  • Coordinate quality support to the production teams
  • Identify, do the documentation and standardize the key process to achieve the objectives and share the good practice of the organization
  • Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them
  • Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
  • Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner
  • Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector
  • Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process
  • Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate their performance and their progress
  • Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication
  • Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of Bombardier
  • Coach your team to develop their talent in the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering
  • College degree combined with several years of experience in methods and/or quality team
  • Experience in quality assurance, project management, problem solving and/or continuous improvement
  • Excellent management skills
  • Ability to show good judgment, flexibility, results-oriented
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and comfortable with tight delivery times
  • Great sense of initiative
  • Good organizational skills and excellent technical knowledge
  • Definite talent for communication and leadership
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism is an asset)
