Job Responsibility:
Plan, organize, motivate and supervise the activities of a 15 to 25 union employees
Assume all the human resources management responsibilities
Coordinate quality support to the production teams
Identify, do the documentation and standardize the key process to achieve the objectives and share the good practice of the organization
Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them
Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner
Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector
Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process
Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate their performance and their progress
Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication
Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of Bombardier
Coach your team to develop their talent in the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering
College degree combined with several years of experience in methods and/or quality team
Experience in quality assurance, project management, problem solving and/or continuous improvement
Excellent management skills
Ability to show good judgment, flexibility, results-oriented
Able to work with minimal supervision
Comfortable with tight delivery times
Great sense of initiative
Good organizational skills
Excellent technical knowledge
Definite talent for communication and leadership
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism is an asset)
