You’ll oversee a small team of experienced data engineers and help hire a new data analyst, while personally contributing to high-leverage data projects. You’ll partner closely with Product, Customer Experience, Field, and Business Systems teams to connect product usage with customer value — helping Benchling serve both our internal stakeholders and external users more effectively. This role is suited to someone who enjoys operational stability, is energized by cross-functional collaboration, and can help advocate for data-driven work even when headcount and resources are limited but where sustained, meaningful impact is both possible and expected.

comfortable working within constraints and know how to drive meaningful progress in low-investment environments
enjoy translating complex data into actionable insights and take pride in making systems and people work better together
