Job Responsibility:
You will be responsible for planning, organizing, motivating and supervising the activities of a 15 to 25 union employees
You will assume all the human resources management responsibilities
You will have to coordinate quality support to the production teams
You will have to identify, do the documentation and standardize the key process to achieve the objectives and share the good practice of the organization
Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them
Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc
Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner
Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector
Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process
Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate their performance and their progress
Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication
Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of Bombardier
Coach your team to develop their talent in the organization
Requirements:
You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college degree combined with several years of experience in the methods and/or quality team, most importantly in quality assurance, project management, problem solving and/or continuous improvement
You have excellent management skills
You have the ability to show good judgment, flexibility, results-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision and comfortable with tight delivery times
You have a great sense of initiative and are ready to work with a winning team
You have good organizational skills and excellent technical knowledge
You have a definite talent for communication and leadership
You have the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
You have good communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism is an asset)
