Job Responsibility

  • You will be responsible for planning, organizing, motivating and supervising the activities of a 15 to 25 union employees
  • You will assume all the human resources management responsibilities
  • You will have to coordinate quality support to the production teams
  • You will have to identify, do the documentation and standardize the key process to achieve the objectives and share the good practice of the organization
  • Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them
  • Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc
  • Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner
  • Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector
  • Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process
  • Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate their performance and their progress
  • Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication
  • Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of Bombardier
  • Coach your team to develop their talent in the organization

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering, or a college degree combined with several years of experience in the methods and/or quality team, most importantly in quality assurance, project management, problem solving and/or continuous improvement
  • You have excellent management skills
  • You have the ability to show good judgment, flexibility, results-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision and comfortable with tight delivery times
  • You have a great sense of initiative and are ready to work with a winning team
  • You have good organizational skills and excellent technical knowledge
  • You have a definite talent for communication and leadership
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • You have good communication skills in both English and French (bilingualism is an asset)
