Job Description:

As part of our strategy to continue to grow and provide our services internationally, we are advertising for a talented and ambitious English teacher to join our online school for a maternity cover for one year, with the ability to teach English, up to year 13

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspire, motivate and provide purposeful subject knowledge for students
  • Put Quality First Teaching at the front and centre of all tasks
  • Support the self-evaluation of the school’s effectiveness and the development of priorities for improvement
  • Assist in maintaining and developing a high-quality school environment and profile and act as a role model by their professional conduct and disposition
  • Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and any class or group of students
  • Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and wellbeing matters
  • Provide or contribute to assessments, reports and references relating to students in a timely manner
  • Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities
  • Communicate with parents and other stakeholders to ensure they feel supported and receive the best possible outcome for students
  • Undertake any other work as specified by their line manager
