Job Responsibility:
Lead, steer and support overall Ingka financial reporting that is beneficial to people & planet and protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and financial independence
Provide Accounting & Reporting services, supporting a strong compliance framework, and effective governance to enable entrepreneurship and safeguard our people, customers and businesses
Lead the development of the team based on the global finance, organisational and people development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession
Develop, implement and continuously improve effective and efficient Accounting & Reporting processes and routines
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities
Secure that the team members are working according to the A&R manual as well as local GAAP
Support the team with specific accounting and reporting related questions
Support relevant functions as a trustful and professional business partner in Accounting & Reporting matters with the aim to offer the customer a seamless shopping experience
Contribute the business plan process and set clear goals and action plan together with the team in alignment with the business plan and function goals
Coordinate and/or support internal and external audit, review and follow up on audit findings and recommendations
Contribute to local and global projects from A&R perspective
Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group
Secure cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach
Ensure a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field
5+ years of increasingly responsible accounting experience in similar or larger organisation
Demonstrated knowledge of broad set of accounting principles (e.g., INGKA and local GAAP)
Experience in use of automated accounting systems
Proficient in MS Office skills
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
Proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others
Experience in multicultural and multinational organisation
Broad knowledge of the IKEA concept, its Brand identity, Culture & Values and strategic directions
Comprehensive knowledge of IKEA business, its market and industry
knowledge of Ingka group's core business operations and key interactions between businesses/functions
Broad knowledge of Ingka's business, financial and operational processes, their inter-dependencies and how to work through them
Excellent knowledge of the measurement, processing and communication of financial information regarding economic entities
Excellent knowledge of Ingka's accounting and financial reporting rules, standards and manuals, along with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced knowledge of how to assess, analyse and mitigate risks in a business environment
Excellent knowledge of how to plan, measure financial records in compliance with internal and external regulations
Good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide ranging application in business context
Advanced knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in Ingka
Good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools
Good knowledge of the customer needs, demands and expectations on the markets
