This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Slough Borough Council’s Leader, Cabinet Members and councillors as they deliver services and priorities for local residents. As our Leader and Cabinet Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative, diary, correspondence and casework support, helping elected Members work effectively, stay informed and engage confidently with colleagues, partners and the community. You will be part of a fast-paced Democratic Services environment where discretion, judgement, attention to detail and excellent relationship-building skills are essential. You will manage correspondence and telephone enquiries, coordinate diaries, support meetings and events, prepare briefings and undertake apolitical research. Working closely with councillors and officers across the Council, you will need to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgement and manage competing priorities with accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail.
