Job Description:

Slough Borough Council is continuing its improvement journey, with a focus on strong governance, clear decision making and high quality support for elected Members. We are creating a new Leader and Civic Office Manager role to support this work. Based in Democratic Services, you will lead the Leader's and Civic Office and provide trusted support to senior politicians and officers, helping ensure decisions are well planned and effective. We are looking for an experienced manager who is confident in a political environment, able to work at pace and lead a small team to deliver high standards. This is a key opportunity for someone motivated by public service and committed to supporting the Council's ongoing improvement.
