Job Description

Rapid7 is seeking a highly motivated Lead Workplace Experience Coordinator to join our Real Estate & Workplace Experience team. In this role, you will focus on elevating the Rapid7 Boston office headquarters by ensuring a safe, functional, and engaging office culture. You will get the opportunity to manage vendor relationships, spearhead office-wide events and drive overall safety initiatives. This role balances strategic data-driven problem solving with hands-on execution, serving as a critical bridge between local team needs and global workplace leadership. As the Lead Workplace Experience Coordinator, you will work onsite in our Boston office headquarters 5 days per week.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee day-to-day workplace operations, ensuring the office is running smoothly and efficiently while also setting best practices for other locations
  • Manage vendor relationships, coordinate repairs & preventive maintenance, and oversee physical security programs while proactively identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Lead the planning and execution of office-wide events, culture initiatives, and executive-level visits, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences
  • Lead office safety, security, emergency preparedness, and space planning initiatives, balancing employee experience with compliance and operational needs
  • Manage and forecast local operational expenditures (OpEx), reporting on spend and identifying opportunities for cost savings
  • Collaborate with local leadership, global workplace team, and other functional partners to align team initiatives with broader business needs

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or corporate services, with significant experience managing office environments
  • Proven ability to lead teams or projects, and provide subject matter expertise

  • Excellent communication skills
