Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Wires Support Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial Corporate & Investment Bank Technology (CCIBT) engineering and transformation office. The position supports Money Transfer System applications (Domestic and International).

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions
Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues
Provide day to day support / operational activities related to EMTS and GMTS
Alert handling
Taking care of the incidents
Handling start of day / end of day activities
Service requests
Changes and Problem management

Requirements:

5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
2 years of application support experience
Wire processing experience
Automation and Scripting experience with Shell and/or Python
ACI knowledge
Experience in automation using any of scripting (shell/Perl/Python)
Experience in IBM MQ Series
Experience in ITIL processes (Change, Incident and Problem Management) for Application Support

Nice to have:

Wire processing experience
Automation and Scripting experience with Shell and/or Python
ACI knowledge
