Job Description

Role Overview: Understand and execute fulfillment strategy to optimize transport, storage capacity and labeling and provide advice to members. Leads also collaborate with fulfillment members and the relevant departments to maintain the storage and delivery at a high-quality level. Execute warehouse work and so that warehouse operation can be carried out smoothly with complying related laws and regulations. Implement the project improving efficiency or reducing costs.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with fulfillment members and the relevant departments to maintain the storage and delivery at a high-quality level
  • Execute warehouse work and so that warehouse operation can be carried out smoothly with complying related laws and regulations
  • Implement the project improving efficiency or reducing costs
  • Plan and execute the project improving efficiency or reducing costs
  • Provide advice to fulfillment members to maintain safely and reliably delivery and storage
  • Optimize relabeling and repackaging operations that are part of global Fulfillment
  • Create and maintain an environment in accordance with the internal rules and regulations related to Compliance and Maintenance (GMP, GXP, CQP, PAL, SOX, Waste Management Method, Trade Control Order, etc.)
  • Create and maintain High Quality and Accurate Operation Warehouse environment (Storage, Loading and Unloading)
  • Set up and maintain a good relationship with the stakeholders, suppliers and venders
  • Understand and manage the fulfillment team budget
  • Lead EHS activities at Tokyo plant and warehouse
  • Lead BOS activities

Requirements

  • 5+ years logistics solution design experience and/or logistics operations management in warehousing or transport in the medical industry
  • Knowledge of business practices, Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, etc.
  • Medical and Pharmaceutical industry background
  • Knowledge of six sigma or EMS (Toyota kaizen method)
  • English communication skills to build a smooth relationship with stakeholders inside and outside the company
