Job Responsibility:
Work on test software, hardware, and application specific tooling for assigned product programs
Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests (electrical)
Develop statement of work (SOW) for test and programming processes/equipment
Support kick-off meetings and MSD workshops with/in the PML for the assigned project
Enforce proper requirements management for the assigned test process
Facilitate test coverage analysis process, ensuring adequate test coverage for the assigned test process, request design changes in case test coverage issues in early design phase
Utilize 6-Sigma for Test Statistical Analysis Methods to optimize CPK performance of parametric electrical tests
Track needed test equipment/tools, ensure availability of needed material for all equipment/tool development
Perform test equipment buy-off at suppliers, drive capability studies, strain measurement, create list of key parameters to be transferred to quality plan
Work out proper documentation of the assigned test process, respect the APTIV processes and procedures accordingly
Provide equipment training to PML test engineers, latest after PV
Participate in escalation meetings on program management level on demand
Support global Test Site team for agreed/defined tasks for post series test processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or similar with technical education
Proficient software development skills in one or more of the following software languages: National Instruments LabView, NI LabWindows CVI, NI TestStand, C++, C
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, LVDS, Flex-Ray, Broad@Reach and flashing concepts of memory devices
Knowledge in SSFT and statistical methods
Good problem-solving capability
Ability to work and live a global network environment
