Technology Architect is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Job Responsibility:

  • Executes the architectural vision for all IT systems through major, complex IT architecture projects
  • ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints
  • Will be responsible for the execution of Regulatory Commitments related initiatives and Tech Gaps Assessments for the respective regulatory initiatives for Wealth Technology globally
  • Develops technology road maps, while keeping up to date with emerging technologies, and recommends business directions based on these technologies
  • Responsible for executing functional strategy for Wealth Technology Issues, Exam and Regulatory Management domain
  • Closely works with Wealth Tech teams in implementing functional strategy
  • Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas
  • Provides technical leadership and is responsible for developing components of, or the overall systems design
  • Translates complex business problems into sound technical solutions
  • Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces
