The Airbus Information Management (IM) function is seeking a talented SAP Fiori/ UI5 & ABAP Lead Technology Analyst to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an expert SAP ABAP, UI5, and Fiori developer, you will play a key role in shaping Airbus’ SAP landscape by applying best practices, ensuring high-quality technical solutions. Your area of responsibility will extend to deep technology root cause analysis, performance improvement and source code auditing.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and deliver solutions using SAP Fiori, UI5, and ABAP technologies
  • Understand business processes and the technical architecture of the Airbus SAP landscape
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP solutions with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Manage the operational health and lifecycle of multiple SAP Embedded Fiori environments
  • Oversee the end-to-end deployment of UI5 applications and ensure UI/UX consistency by maintaining corporate branding within the Fiori Launchpad
  • Define and promote SAP best practices and development standards (Golden Rules)
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement performance improvements in complex SAP systems
  • Understand the end to end life cycle of the project
  • Develop technical documentation and presentations for projects and internal teams
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless end-to-end project delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP UI5 application development and oData service creation
  • SAP Fiori standard applications activation & enhancements
  • Custom ui5 apps development, custom theming , javascript, css, html, xml, jquery on UI part
  • Strong Knowledge of Spaces and Pages, Fiori themes, SADL, oData framework, Annotations and Fiori templates
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Reports, Enhancements, SAPUI5 controls, Fiori Elements, and overall Fiori architecture
  • Experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP), OData design and implementation via cds views & SAP Gateway Service Builder
  • Able to design, develop and maintain custom developments in SAP
  • Experience in performance tuning programs that are time/resource intensive
  • Experience working with ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and SAP CHARM / Focused Build
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, in good team spirit
