Job Description:

UpGuard is hiring a Lead Technical Business Analyst to support their Analytics team in scaling their business growth. The role involves enabling stakeholders to investigate hypotheses, ensuring robust internal systems, and leading research into key business objectives. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytical Research, or Business Process Analysis, and a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Job Responsibility:

Enable team and stakeholders to investigate hypotheses and provide actionable insights
ensure internal systems are robust and efficient
identify areas for process improvement
lead research and analysis into key business objectives
transform raw data into actionable format
understand business processes
handle sensitive data securely
lead groups of Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders through projects

Requirements:

6 or more years of experience working in either Data Science, Analytical Research or Business Process Analysis
Bachelor's Degree in a Mathematical, IT, Science or Engineering field
self-sufficient
experience scaling high growth SaaS companies

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Looker, Google Sheets, CloudSQL (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes (via GKE), n8n, Golang, APIs (REST+JSON or SOAP+XML), version control via GitHub, Golang+TypeScript+ChartJS
