You’ll support adults with learning disabilities and autism across eight individual flats, enabling each person to live life in the way that is most meaningful to them. People you’ll support range in age from 30 to 80 and have a wide variety of interests — from church visits, sensory sessions, shopping trips and zoo outings, to evenings out at local discos. Support is typically delivered on a 1:1 basis, with occasional 2:1, so flexibility is essential. As a Lead Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred support. You will lead by example on shift, acting as a positive role model, mentoring colleagues, and helping to embed best practice within the team.
