Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Lead Supply Officer (m/f) to join our Supply Chain & Quality Department for the A220 based in Toulouse, France (St Eloi Plant). You will be part of a team contributing to the critical transfer of the A220 engine pylon manufacturing. As part of the Supply Chain Operations for Engine Pylons team, you will be driving the supply of detailed parts, material, standard/specified items in a complex, multicultural environment. Your mission is to manage supplier relationships and the procurement of materials, ensuring the on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery of parts to our assembly lines.

Job Responsibility

  • Place and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and manage inventory/order communication with suppliers
  • Navigate and coordinate across a complex international network (US suppliers, Canadian customers, and European teams)
  • Manage the relationship with international suppliers on all operational aspects: order book, reception, invoicing disputes, etc.
  • Actively manage material flows and monitor supplier performance through operational action plans
  • Lead the first-level response for corrective and preventive actions when delivery targets are at risk
  • Coordinate overall team activity and act as the first level of escalation for supply chain issues
  • Ensure daily monitoring and reporting of supply chain performances

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP (Material Management), AirSupply, and Supplier Relationship Management
  • Advanced level in Supply Plan Management, Ordering & Logistic solutions, and Supplier Surveillance
  • Fluent in English (proficient in speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Proactive self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Dynamic team player who wants to perform in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Comfortable with IT and office tools, particularly the Google Suite
