Bring deep knowledge of Shopify’s products and business, translate it into clear positions, and ensure our voice is heard. Your work will make Shopify a trusted policy partner and a credible voice in the room. The mission of the Government Affairs team is to: 1) develop and broadcast Shopify’s positioning on a wide variety of policy issues 2) prevent, manage, and mitigate political, legislative, and regulatory threats to Shopify 3) promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for entrepreneurs and small businesses. You’ll need the foundation of past experience coupled with the inventiveness to adapt, innovate, and execute a uniquely Shopify strategy in complex, fast-moving environments.
