Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Specialty Software Engineer supporting the LIQ Application. Loan IQ is the system of record for all wholesale syndicated loan administration and for international bilateral and syndicated loans. Loan IQ is a vendor application provided by Finastra and has more than $700 billion dollars in loan portfolio. This position must support the vendor application as well as inhouse written code supporting interfacing applications

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
  • Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
  • Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
  • Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
  • Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
  • Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Mentor less experienced software engineers
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years C# .NET and .NET Core
  • 5+ years Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
  • 4+ years experience demonstrating the ability to document technical designs/solutions for complex, strategic efforts
  • 3+ years LIQ experience, strong understanding of the data model
  • 3+ years' experience with Agile development methodologies
  • 3+ years' experience with commercial lending business
  • 3 + years' experience using tools like Jenkins/Harness, GitHub

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Finastra SDK tool
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Finastra DCT tool
  • Experience with Java
  • Understanding of messaging platforms such as MQ, Kafka, Solace
  • Experience in AutoSys
  • Experience with Network Data Mover (NDM)
  • Experience with Powershell, windows command scripts, bash shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Finastra LIQ add on's such as the Data Propagation took and Auto Cash Matching
