In this role, you'll work in a small and dedicated team passionate about the development of these products. The ideal candidate will be motivated by the unique challenges and opportunities of a fast-growing medical device organization, by solving sophisticated technical problems, and have a penchant for continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Model, design, and develop high quality, secure and reliable systems focusing on quality and meeting regulatory requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and design
Work with development team members to bring to market quality, testable applications
Work with BAs to size and groom requirements
Work with SDETs to ensure feature testability
Create and maintain software design documentation
Perform peer code reviews and lead projects with minimal guidance
Contribute to a collaborative environment helping to establish lean but effective software practices
Requirements:
Associate’s degree with 5+ years of proven experience working on cloud-based applications
Experience transitioning existing applications into a microservices architecture
Experience developing high availability web applications
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar platform
Strong problems solving ability
Excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
Medical device experience is preferred
Experience developing to any of HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC2, SOX, PCI standards is also preferred
Familiarity with C#, SQL Server, Docker and/or Kubernetes desired
