Join a multi-skilled team dedicated to developing innovative wearable cardiac arrhythmia monitors and associated cloud-based software. In this role, you'll work in a small and dedicated team passionate about the development of these products. The ideal candidate will be motivated by the unique challenges and opportunities of a fast-growing medical device organization, by solving sophisticated technical problems, and have a penchant for continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Model, design, and develop high quality, secure and reliable systems focusing on quality and meeting regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and design
  • Work with development team members to bring to market quality, testable applications
  • Work with BAs to size and groom requirements
  • Work with SDETs to ensure feature testability
  • Create and maintain software design documentation
  • Perform peer code reviews and lead projects with minimal guidance
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment helping to establish lean but effective software practices

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree with 5+ years of proven experience working on cloud-based applications
  • Experience transitioning existing applications into a microservices architecture
  • Experience developing high availability web applications
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar platform
  • Strong problems solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Medical device experience is preferred
  • Experience developing to any of HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC2, SOX, PCI standards is also preferred
  • Familiarity with C#, SQL Server, Docker and/or Kubernetes desired
