Job Description:

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in San Leandro, CA. The role involves leading complex technology initiatives, developing standards and companywide best practices, designing and coding software projects, and collaborating with technical experts to resolve complex issues. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week, with in-person attendance required at San Leandro office.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
review and analyze complex technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges
make decisions in developing companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups
lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
5 years of experience in software engineering
experience with React
experience with Javascript
experience with REST
experience with CSS
experience with GIT
experience with Cucumber
experience with NodeJS
experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1.
