Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support our Commercial, Consumer, and Investment Banking Technology team. This person must have an in-depth understanding of various Client Reference Data domains such as Hierarchies, Related Parties, Managed Relationships etc. This person will be responsible for modernizing Client Reference Data platform as subject matter expert in domain driven data modeling, database designing and performance tuning.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Modernize Client Reference Data platform as subject matter expert in domain driven data modeling, database designing and performance tuning

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience
5+ years of experience in architecture, development, implementation or support of CRM Systems, client on-boarding or client reference data in a financial services environment
5+ years of data management experience including data modeling, data integrity and data quality
5+ years of experience in performance tuning technologies
5+ years of experience with at least two of the following platforms: MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle
5+ years of ETL, data warehouse and data analytics delivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms
3+ years of experience with Kafka

Nice to have:

Experience with Investment or Commercial Banking products
Experience with client financial life cycle
