Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to lead complex technology initiatives, develop standards and best practices, and collaborate with technical experts to resolve complex technical issues.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience
3+ years working with GCP
2+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tool Terraform and GitHub
professional cloud certification on GCP
thorough understanding of cloud computing concepts like landing zone, Storage and Database
understanding on Control Plane, Azure Arc and Google Anthos
proficient on container-based solution services
handled large scale Kubernetes based Infrastructure build out
proficient on Cloud Compute and Middleware services
understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancing concepts
proficient in Cloud service offerings on Data, Analytics, AI/ML
proficient in Cloud service offerings on Security, Data Protection and Security policy implementations

Nice to have:

Exposure to Cloud governance and logging/monitoring tools
Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps concepts and SRE principles
Experience in scripting (Shell, Python)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences
Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment
Delivery focus and willingness to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment
