Responsible for engineering, scaling, and evolving the unified enterprise portal that provides developers with a connected, intelligent, and automated experience across the entire software development lifecycle. The IDP consolidates developer tooling, onboarding, infrastructure provisioning, frameworks, vulnerability management, and release workflows into a single cohesive platform, significantly reducing friction and improving developer productivity.
Job Responsibility:
Design, build, and enhance core components of the IDP including self‑service onboarding, dashboards, developer tools integration, dependency graphing, and workflow orchestration.
Develop modular frontends, micro‑frontends, and service integrations that enable a seamless, unified experience for developers, platform engineers, engineering managers, and product owners.
Engineer robust backend services that support entitlement management, secure access, app manifest visibility, release automation, and infrastructure provisioning.
Build intuitive self‑service experiences that streamline provisioning of tools, environments, infrastructure, libraries, and accelerators.
Integrate with enterprise systems such as Developer Portal, ELP, Orchestra, API Portal, JIRA, AppVision, BlackDuck, CheckMarx, ThreadFix, and CICD platforms.
Reduce friction by unifying multi‑step developer workflows across onboarding, code authoring, CI/CD job creation, observability integration, approvals, and deployment.
Build and maintain reusable libraries, templates, accelerators, and self‑service provisioning tools that simplify adoption of CTO products and services via the IDP.
Ensure that all framework and portal components adhere to organizational security, compliance, and governance standards.
Collaborate with Paramasamy, Sivamurugan’s EFU teams to align IDP-integrated accelerators with Orchestra frameworks across Java, .NET, Angular, React, Node.js, and Python.
Integrate vulnerability management workflows, NFR validation, and secure-by-default patterns into the IDP platform.
Implement AD‑based access controls, persona governance, and safeguards around developer journey operations.
Lead risk mitigation for IDP components, ensuring the platform meets enterprise standards for safety, reliability, and compliance.
Integrate AI‑powered capabilities such as chatbots, contextual search, automated defect prediction, and code generation assistance into the IDP.
Support GenAI-led SDLC automation by embedding AI insights into dashboards, workflows, and developer tooling.
Partner with L3 test engineering teams for metrics and ROI measurement on AI-enabled testing and execution (e.g., HyperExecute integration).
Collaborate closely with platform engineering, InfoSec, DevOps, architects, and product teams to shape IDP strategy and roadmap.
Work with Developer Portal L2 teams (Falcons, Gladiators, Avengers) on adopting consistent templates, storefront components, and unified developer experience patterns.
Mentor engineers, promote InnerSource contributions, and drive alignment across cross‑functional engineering groups.
