Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to lead complex technology initiatives, develop standards and best practices, design and code solutions, and collaborate with technical experts to resolve complex technical issues.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Take Ownership and accountability for end-to-end delivery
Guide team members technically
Deal with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience
2+ years working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform and its services) or alternate public/hybrid cloud
2+ years of experience with Python
2+ years of experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases and conversational bots
1+ years of experience with Playbooks, Vertex AI
Exposure to ADK (hands-on) and Voice AI

Nice to have:

4+ years of Contact Center industry experience
4+ years of experience with Node JS, JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, Distributed Caches, Elastic Search technologies, GraphQL, and NoSQL Databases
2+ years of Deep Domain Driven Design experience with cloud native Microservices
3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks
3+ years of hands-on experience with TrueCD, DevOps with Cucumber, GitHub Actions
Experience working in Agile environment
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tool Terraform and GitHub
Scripting and infrastructure automation
Professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP or other cloud providers
Full stack application development
Understanding of Network Security Experience and Enterprise Architecture and OWASP Security practices
3+ years of real time low latency, front-end Web applications
