Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Network Reliability Engineering team within the Network Services organization. This role will be instrumental in driving the reliability, automation, and architectural maturity of network-related applications and tools across the enterprise.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups
Lead projects, teams, and serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience
5+ years of experience in software architecture, including cloud-native and on-premises environments, API design, database management, and user interface development
5+ years of Expert-level proficiency in programming languages such as Python/JavaScript/Java/.NET
3+ years of Deep understanding of observability platforms (e.g., Grafana, Splunk) and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)

Nice to have:

Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks
Hands-on experience with AI-driven engineering practices
Demonstrated ability to correlate data across multiple tools and platforms
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management
Ability to lead modernization initiatives
Self-motivated and adaptable
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
