Lead Software Engineer

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure applications for CIB business functions
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and container technologies
• Design and develop responsive and intuitive UI Components using React.js or Angular
• Optimize and manage SQL databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements specific to the financial domain
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD automation, monitoring, and incident response

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in React.js or Angular for front-end development
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration using OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Proven track record in designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and source control
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience in the Corporate & Investment Banking domain or other financial services
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging systems
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in cloud environments
• Red Hat OpenShift certification or equivalent
